Bienvenidos a Málaga, Mark!

Welcome to Malaga, Mark!

An inbound marketing agency team, a Spanish villa and lots of exciting workshops and presentations. The Mark Lotse team spent five days in Málaga in southern Spain. Here we were able to take time away from the daily agency routine to develop ourselves further. Are you curious? Here are some impressions.
We set off at 4 o'clock in the morning on Saturday. As soon as everyone had been collected by cab, we drove together to Karlsruhe airport.

After a flight of just under three hours, we found ourselves at the Spanish airport, from where we took off for our accommodation, which was to be our home for the next few days. And when we got there, we were quite astonished:

Freshly fortified, after lunch we set about the first point of the day, the analysis and goal setting of our website. It was particularly exciting to see how the team's impressions overlapped or even diverged. At a late hour - just in time for the Spanish dinner - our stomachs were growling again, which is why we headed straight for a tapas restaurant. Our first day in Spain was over so quickly.

The early bird catches the worm!

After a sumptuous breakfast, we had to think about what we wanted to do with Sunday afternoon, as our booked Caminito del rey tour unfortunately fell through in the truest sense of the word. In the end, however, we pilots were drawn to the sea for a long walk.

The next day, Christian introduced us to "I am me and you are you" - a short workshop to identify the different personality types in the agency team. To do this, we all completed a personality test at 16 Personalities. However, we were not supposed to reveal our results for the time being. Then the big puzzle began. Who is extroverted, who is more introverted? How do the individual people approach problems? The solution was particularly fun and it was extremely interesting to find out how we were assessed. We rounded off Monday with a barbecue and games.

Between explanatory videos and lots of vitamin D

On Tuesday, Angie gave us a complete overview of the explanatory video production process we currently have in place. We discussed how to approach future projects and what we can optimize further.

Our last day included a presentation by Meike on our project management software Trello. She demonstrated many useful functions and ways to integrate the application even more into our everyday lives. With the last hours of sunshine for us, we were able to sit by the pool for a while until we slowly had to leave.

In five days in Málaga, we grew even closer as an agency team, learned a lot about ourselves and as a team and also had a lot of fun. The time was particularly helpful for tackling internal projects that otherwise tend to fall by the wayside in everyday life. We are now returning to Germany refreshed and reorganized - ready for new pilot adventures for us and our clients.
